FIBA World Cup 2019
Group B

Group B will be hosted in Wuhan city and the teams who will battle for the second stage are Russia, Argentina, Nigeria, and Korea. At the end of the group stage, it's very possible that teams will finish at the same order. So let's start with the team by team.

Team Russia is one of the European giants with the big national history of winning all competitions.
But in the last couple of competitions, they didn’t have so much notable finish. Should they advance to the Second Round, things look promising for them on paper, as they would face Poland, Cote d'Ivoire, Venezuela or China and avoid matchups with juggernauts such as USA, Spain, Serbia, France, Australia, Canada or Greece until the Final Phase.
Dmitriy Khvostov, Vitaliy Fridzon, Sergey Karasev, Aleksei Shved, Semen Antonov, and Timofey Mozgov are the main force of this Russian team.
With an average age of 30, team Russia is a mix of experience and young players who will try to overcome the great team of Argentina for the first place in their group.

Argentina team is a very experienced team and obviously the biggest menace for Russia. A very experienced team, always hustling, always tough players that know how to play basketball.
Without any doubt, the team leader is 39 old NBA veteran, Luis Scola.
Luis is such an incredible player and a fantastic leader and captain. His love for the national team is amazing and it's such a great example for all of his teammates. His experience is such a huge, valuable thing. He played with the best players in the world and won everything with the national team. He's a legend of the game.
Right next to Scola will be Facundo Campazzo and Nicolás Laprovíttola two very guards. This team will try to achieve something that their ex-teammates did, but it will be very hard.
There are rumors that Manu Ginobili will join his national team, but chances are very small.

The Nigeria team is very athletic, strong physical. They prefer a physical style of play with so much running and fast brakes. Key members of the team that qualified Nigeria for the World Cup in China comprising of team captain Ike Diogu, Portland Trail Blazers forward Al-Farouk Aminu, Ben Uzoh, Jordan Nwora, Emegano Obinna, Ike Iroegbu, Chris Obekpa and Efevberha Michael are among the players that top the list for places to compete against Korea, Argentina and Russia in Group B. They will try to make things harder for group favorites.

The Korea team is a very fast team with a lot of 3-point shooters. On the best day, they are going to kill any team from the distance. So we other teams need to close the distance, not let them run a lot, put them under the basket because of lack of high players.
Kim SunHyung, Oh SeKeun, and Kim JongKyu are the only ones in the current pool who saw action at the previous FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain five years ago, and all three are expected to play major roles for Korea in this year's World Cup, especially with the country hoping to make it past the group stage for the first time ever.
