DreamLeague Season 13 – Dota 2

The new season of Dota 2 Pro Circuit 2019 - 2020 is closer than ever and the organizers and creators (Valve) have announced the new DreamLeague Season 13 - Dota 2, which will take place from January 18 to 26 of the year 2020 in the city of Leipzig, Germany, specifically in the Leipziger Messe. This European country turns two years since the DPC decided to integrate them into its ranks to perform events of great magnitude such as the DreamLeague and the ESL One. This new season will be unpublished, since the time between one tournament and another will be much reduced reducing to approximately six months compared to the events previously performed.

Since the event has been announced a few hours ago, with respect to the participating teams there is only information that there will be fifteen teams from the regional qualifiers and a final quota that will be the “WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020” to be held from January 9 to 12, in the city of Bukovel, Ukraine. As is already known about the events carried out and the new rules implemented, at least two teams from each region of the world will qualify for the grand final in the cold floors of Leipzig.

Currently, Vici Gaming are the champions of the Dream League Major, after defeating Virtus.pro in the grand finals with a result of 3 - 2. But they will also have to fight against all the teams in their region if they want defend your title in the final stays of the DreamLeague Season 13.

As with all Majors this season, the Leipzig Major will have 16 teams that will compete for most of the $ 1 million prize pool and 15,000 DPC points. The distribution of the prize will be as follows:

ü  1st - $ 300,000 - 4,850 DPC points

ü  2nd - $ 160,000 - 3,000 DPC points

ü  3rd - $ 110,000 - 2,100 DPC points

ü  4th - $ 80,000 - 1,350 DPC points

ü  5th-6th - $ 60,000 - 900 DPC points

ü  7 to 8 - $ 40,000 - 450 DPC points

ü  9-12 - $ 20,000 - 150 DPC points

ü  12-16 - $ 12,500 - 100 DPC points

The event will have the qualifiers behind closed doors, but you can enjoy the meetings through the official Twitch of the DreamLeague. The organizers will open the doors for the public on January 24.
