Curling at the 2022 Winter Olympics will be held at the Beijing National Aquatics Center which is one of the Olympic Green venues. Curling contests are set to be competed for every single day of the games, from 2 February to February 20, 2021. This year, curling will be on the Olympic program for the eighth time.

Ten nations will compete in the men's, women's, and mixed doubles competitions. For its second appearance in the Olympics, the mixed doubles curling tournament will be expanded. Curling received 120 quota spots, with 60 allocated to each gender, an increase of four from the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Participating Teams & Qualification

Two methods will be employed to decide qualification for the men's and women's curling competitions at the Winter Olympics. Nations qualify for the 2021 World Curling Championships by finishing in the top six. Teams can also qualify by competing in Olympic qualifying events in 2021. Six teams will be qualified by World Championship qualification placement, while three teams will be qualified through qualification events. A host will be chosen for the Olympic Qualification Event in both men's and women's plays. They will be joined by two qualifiers from the Pre-Olympic Qualification Event and teams that competed at the 2021 World Championships but did not qualify for the Olympics. All member organizations will be able to participate in the Pre-OQE.

The tournament field for the mixed doubles competition in 2022 will be increased from eight to ten nations. The top seven teams from the 2021 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship, as well as two qualifiers from the Olympic Qualification Event (OQE) — Mixed Doubles, will compete for a spot. The fifteen nations with the best qualification points who have not yet qualified for the Olympics will compete in this OQE, which will be hosted by a chosen host. China qualified teams automatically as the host nation, resulting in a total of 10 teams each competing in the curling events.
