RB Leipzig next manager after Julian Nagelsmann
Julian Nagelsmann - The Youngster among the German Trainers
There is no coach in the German Bundesliga who has caused such a stir at such a young age as Julian Nagelsmann. His career as a player had already ended before it had begun. After his youth he was first part of the second team of TSV 1860 Munich. Here, however, he could not play a game due to injury. After that he went back to Augsburg, where he also trained during his youth. Here, too, he could not play in a compulsory game because he was out again due to an injury. As a result he ended his career due to a possible arthrosis without playing a single compulsory game.
Instead of turning his back on football, however, Thomas Tuchel convinced him to complete a coaching course. He also studied sports science by correspondence and obtained his training certificate. During this time he coached the youth of FC Augsburg as well as the U17 of TSV 1860 Munich and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. At Hoffenheim his career began to take off slowly.
In the season 2012/13 he was co-coach of the first team for one year and then took over the U19. Due to health problems of the Hoffenheim trainer, Nagelsmann made his debut as a TSG trainer in February 2016, and thus before the end of his trainer training. Despite his relegation, the young coach fought to retain his class and was then given a coaching contract. At the age of 28, he became the youngest head coach in the history of the Bundesliga. After three quite successful years, Nagelsmann joined RB Leipzig in 2019. He is also regularly traded as the future coach of FC Bayern Munich.
