2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup
The CONCACAF Gold Cup will take place for the 15th time in 2019. The tournament will start on the 15th of June and will end on 7th of July. The Gold Cup is held with the National Teams from the region of North, Central American, and Caribbean region. The tournament will mainly be hosted by the United States, but Costa Rica and Jamaica will also be hosting the first round of matches in groups B and C, respectively. Other than being the host, United States is the defending continental champion as they won the tournament in 2017. The Gold Cup is held every two years. United States has been the host (or one of the hosts) in all of the 14 editions that were held before.

Among the 16 teams, six has qualified directly after participating in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying Hexagonal, while the other 10 teams have qualified through the 2019–20 CONCACAF Nations League qualifying.
The teams who could win the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup are:
Head Coach: Gerardo Martino
The most successful team in the tournament will 7 championships out of the 14. The last time they won the competition was in 2015 after they beat Jamaica in the final 3-1. Mexico is expected to have their all-time top scorer Javier Hernández available for the tournament. Mexico displayed fantastic football in the last World Cup by beating the defending champions Germany, they also won against South Korea to go through to the Round of 16 for the 7th consecutive time. Mexico appointed Gerardo Martino as their head coach in January 2019 in the hopes of retaining their Gold Cup this year. They are the top favorites to win the competition again in 2019.
Head Coach: Gregg Berhalter
United States are the second-most successful team in this competition as they won the trophy 6 times. They could tie with Mexico if they manage to win the Gold Cup again this year. USA played fantastic in the last edition and beat Jamaica in the final by 2-1. Christian Pulisic is one of the top players of the team, who recently signed for Chelsea and is currently playing for Dortmund. United States failed to qualify for the World Cup last year, but with the manager they could win the competition again.
Head Coach: Theodore Whitmore
Unlike the previous two teams, Jamaica has never won the competition before. They won the Caribbean Cup six times in their history with the last time being in 2014. Jamaica showed their potential to win the Gold Cup in the last two edition after they reached the final both times but failed to beat Mexico and USA to win the trophy. 2019 could be the year they finally win the Gold Cup and become the continental champions.
