Premier League 2020/21

Top 6

Every season in Premier League is unique and brings us many excitements, surprises and fun. Season 2019/20 offered us all that but unfortunately it was stopped for a while because of Covid 19 Pandemic and the last rounds are played in front of empty stands. However, Liverpool showed amazing performances from the start and deserve to win the Premier League trophy. They made winning the league look very easy because they were in excellent form and the other teams couldn’t keep up with them.

The new season in Premier League will begin on 12th September and Jürgen Klopp’s team will have to fight harder to defend the title as it is known that it’s easier to win the trophy then to defend it in next season.

In the past there was a group of 4 teams in the Premier League and everyone always talked about popular English to 4. In the last few season the fight for the top of the table expanded among several clubs so now it is more suitable to talk about top 6 than top 4.

Liverpool is number one favorite to win the Premier League in the next season after amazing performances they showed in this season. Manchester City are right behind them as it is expected Guardiola to be very active in the transfer market this summer and to compose team who can oppose mostly Liverpool on the way to winning the title.

After transfer ban ended Frank Lampard didn’t waited to long to buy some top class players. Timo Werner from RB Leipzig and Hakim Ziyech from Ajax joined Chelsea for next season. Lampard is doing great job in Chelsea and with newest signings Chelsea for sure will be in the top half of the table, very possible even to fight for the title.

Leicester city got used to the upper part of the table. Brendan Rodgers will have much bigger transfer budget if they manage to qualify for UEFA Champions League. Although even with current line up Leicester should be in the top 6 next season.

Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjær will be managers from which everyone will expect much. Tottenham and Manchester United must find theirs forms as fans are losing patience and it will be hard for the managers and players to live and play with such pressure but reaching top 6 shouldn’t be problem for both teams.

Wolves are having another great season in Premier League and they showed to everyone that they are very serious team in the league. They’re even fighting for qualifying to UEFA Champions League this season and everyone expects that it will be same next season.

Arsenal are not having good times in the Premier League recently, but it is a team that belongs to the top half of the table. Arteta will have to do very much to find the proper winning team and to raise the spirit of whole team.

These are main candidates for finishing in the top 6 next season in the Premier League, although many things may change during transfer period.
