About Bredene Koksijde Classic:
It’s a single-day race happened to take place in Belgian region of Flanders arranged by the non-profit organization De Krekedalvrienden. It has been added to the UCI Europe Tour and referred as a single day race since 2011. It started from Bredene and its ending point is in Koksijde Handzame. It has 16 editions since from 2016 to 2018 and there are no repeated winners in this road disciplined race. The type for this race is in Part of the Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen.
So basically, Bredene Koksijde Classic known as Handzame Classic until 2018 is a men's road cycling race in West Flanders, Belgium, whose arrival is in Koksijde.
Collides with UCI Europe Tour:
The race has been integrated into the UCI Europe Tour since its creation in 2011, in category 1.1. Since 2016, the event is one of the rounds of the Belgian Road Cup. In 2018, it was ranked to the 1.HC division and was no longer part of the Coupe de Belgique4. In 2019, this race leaves the Handzame and changes her name to become the Bredene Koksijde Classic. It leaves Bredene, but its appearance is located in Koksijde now instead of Handzame5.
Since 2014 it is arranged as an overture to full time professional race, the Handzame Challenge, race Elites and Espoirs, discussed in the form of interclub and extract in category.
The Bredene Koksijde Classic 2019 takes place on March 22, 2019.
Assessment for first round are grounded on Zweeler points for the Bredene Koksijde Classic race. For this all the riders wanted to get the points for coming into top 25 racers. The first one will get 100 points and the last i.e. 25th will achieve only one point. Points scored as overall winner as in different assessments are not contained. A it is a single race game the greater the points as individual, the greater the chances of winning.
The riders will race from Gistel and Kortemark in the direction of Handzame.The whole crew then goes to the hilly country, where they will be facing the climbing of the Red Mountain and the Kemmelberg, among other things. The drivers then drive to De Moeren.
The racers will start their races from Bredene-aan-Zee and heads towards their end point De Panne. For that they have to go through from Oostende, Gistel, Westende-Bad, Spermalie, Ichtegem, Diksmuide, Staden, Cangemark-Poelkapelle, Ieper, Vleteren, Alveringem, Dunes and at last De-Panne.
There will be some check points where riders can wait for the refreshments. Like there is a closest one from the Bredene which is Westende-Bad. After that they have to wait on Diksmuide. After 20 minutes gap they headed toward the Vleteren, which is the next checkpoint.
The last check point before De-Panne (destination), is Dunes and then they go for the final race slot.
